Hi. My name is John Tobin. I have just learned that I am related as follows. My father is Howard John Tobin, son of Nicholas Arthur Tobin and Eva Green. Nicholas Tobin's parents were Caroline Juratowitch and John Tobin.

Hello
I was a guitar student of Vincent Juradowitch at Eastwood for many years and was familiar with his guitar and art collection, always said he would leave me a guitar of his! Interesting to read his life story. Fondly remembered.

Just want to correct myself here. There were TWO (2) MARSHALL brothers who married Juratowich descendants. As mentioned below, Nicholas and Elizabeth's grand-daughter Evelyn SMITH married William John MARSHALL and her sister Maud SMITH married his brother
(Ernest) Patrick MARSHALL. Cheers! :)

What a coincidence that I was doing some family tree today and for the first time, I came across the name Juratowitch. We are not directly related but your ancestors, Nicholas Juratowitch and Elizabeth Kavanagh are attached to my MARSHALL family line from
the Patricks Plain/Singleon area. Nicholas' daughter, Elizabeth Juratowich married James Irwin SMITH. Their daughter Evelyn Marie Theresa SMITH married my 2nd Great Granduncle William John MARSHALL, the son of John MARSHALL and Margaret CUNNINGHAM. It's a
small world. Hoping you all have a wonderful day at your coming reunion and enjoy yourselves immensely.

I am the wife of Wayne Prosser, Son of Merv and Tina (Kathleen) Prosser. Tina's father is Francis Juratowitch who is the son of Arthur Juratowitch. We have 3 boys Hayden James, Cameron Charles and Riley Kristopher. We are unable to make it to the reunion
as we are Dairy farmers in sth Gippsland, Victoria. Pictured are our 3 boys. Hope everyone has a great time.

Nicholas Juratowitch is my GGGrandfather. His oldest son Mathew was my GGrandfather; his eldest son Max Athol Juratowitch was my Grandfather; and his son Phillip Rhodes Thorley Juratowitch is my father. My father who was born in Singleton (in a bakery)
will be at the reunion, as will I, my sister, our spouses and my daughter. We are all looking forward to catching up.

Great Great Grandparents are Nicholas & Elizabeth followed by Elizabeth &James Irwin Smith then JIA Smith & Ada Brien then Beryl Elizabeth Smith & Leslie Peel Hilton who are my parents. I have two brothers and one sister, one daughter, two sons, one grandson
and four granddaughters.

I am not a Juratowitch, but I connect to this family group for Matthew Juratowitch married my grandfather John Thorley's younger sister Emily Jane. (Great to see a pic of Matt on this site!)
My own family knew Matt and Em well and a few stories
have of them have come down my family line. I have also undertaken my own research to understand this couple and their family.
Alas work committments will prevent me from the reunion event but if any descendents of Matt an Emma would like to get in
touch I would be happy to share what I have with them.
Apologies for generic email addresses for spam has been a huge problem in my research efforts over the last 30 years so emails have to change.

Hello Extended Family,
A couple things on the Reunion. Tim, his brother John and I spent some time in Singleton W/C 27th February to do more research & check venues for the Reunion.
We have booked the large function room at Singleton Diggers. This is one of the licensed clubs in Singleton and has recently been rennovated. We believe it will make an ideal affordable venue for the Saturday night Family Dinner. I will post menu & costs for meals once I have the final details.
We are looking at a BBQ breakfast at Golf Club on the Sunday morning, details to follow.
If you are planning to attend and require accommodation then you will need to book NOW. Singleton gets a lot of business from mining industry and accommodation books out months in advance.
